Re: stepside tonneau 76

I was told once by somebody that you can use one off a 88-97 short stepside truck. They are very similar in dimension, and you could get away with only having to drill a very few number of holes to have it mount to the tops of the bed rails. I haven't come across a truck in that age range to measure the actual dimensions, but I am wanting a tonneau also and that is the way I am going to go with it. I want the least number of holes I can get away with, but I won't be putting that on till the new paint is on the truck, and that will be a month or so away yet at least.

Re: stepside tonneau 76

Stepside 454 Look's good.

Well after getting the kit it is a unversal and it will have some tendacy to sag.I purchased the extra BOW KIT's (2) and I may not need them. The application is straight foward and you DO have to drill in the bed small 5/32 hole's at the top bed rail ONLY.It takes velcro to the sides (if you decide later you do'nt want it use a heat gun to take the adhesive velcrou off)and Tailgate. So here it is tell what you think...................... http://i113.photobucket.com/albums/n219/Nivimar/DSCI0023.jpg[/IMG. For[/url] the guy's in colder climates use Bow kit ,Install on a day70 degrees plus, let adhesive stand for 12 hours (It's 98 today)
