wet floor

hello,
i have `86 gmc 4+4. my floor board is wet on both sides under my rubber mat.
i told my brother about my problem and he said his didnt leak {he has the same year truck too} and we pulled back his floor covering and his floor is wet too. the insulation is soaking wet.
at the same time we was checking out our trucks a friend of ours pulls up in a `87 2wd chevy we checked his out and whoola
its wet too.
so my question is were the heck is this water coming in at?
my rubber on my doors are in really good shape,windsheild does not leak. floor has no holes in it{yet}
is this a common problem for gmc`s ?
all 3 trucks have the same problem. i was wondering about the pull vent on the side panel. maybe leaking.
i have not a clue were the water is coming from.
any comments would be great.
thanks in advance,vmax.

Is it possible it's the heater core? I had wet insulation under the rubber floor mats, but it wasn't the heater core...just the windows being left open for the window. Where at in Michigan are you at? I'm in Auburn (near between Bay City, Midland, and Saginaw).

wet floors

My wing window leaks on the driver's side so that's my deal, but it can be the heater core seal, (not the actual core), or the windshield seal.

A freind of mine had that problem also. His ended up being the A/C drain, running into the cab instead of dripping out from under the cab. Dont know if u have a/c or not, but down here it is almost 12 mth thing

i have a 86 too and have that problem. rain water runs thru the cowl vents and down the side of the cab and thru the rusted kick panels. there is a drain hole in the kick panels for this but if leaves and such clog it up, thats what hapens. rat
