Front suspension rebuild project
Guys - where's the best place to procure all the parts ( 3/4ton ) I need for a front end rebuilt - tierods, balljoints, bushings, springs, shocks. A one stop shop would be best.
thx,

Re: Front suspension rebuild project
I got mine (1/2 ton) from ECE. All moog parts and they have everything you need.

Re: Front suspension rebuild project
Same here. However, I purchased the rebuild kit off of this board. You might look for the kit on ebay.

Re: Front suspension rebuild project
I bought all my front end components (tie rods, ball joints, control arm shafts, bumpers, idler and pitman arm) as well as drop springs and shocks from TruckAndCarShop out of CA. They have free shipping on orders 250 and up and it looks like your total would be about $750 vs about $900 from the other guy. I also picked up a front drop disc conversion and an adustable track bar from those guys and im impressed with the quality for the price. Just my .02
EDIT: You can also try ClassicParts for some good pricing ($740ish) but their site is a little cumbersome.

Re: Front suspension rebuild project
Cool, thx for all the replies. I checked ECE, they do have a rebuild kit, but it only lists C10's. I want to rebuild using stock 3/4 ton parts. No plans to swap to 1/2 ton at this time. Probably buy a C10 for that project down the road

Re: Front suspension rebuild project
ECE is a great outfit. My parts for my drop came from them. Tie-rods, ball joints, and sway bar bushings came from my local parts house...all TRW or MOOG....only! This is an involved process and lots of work...USE the best parts you can buy!
