Edelbrock Electric choke question?

I haven't hooked the electric choke up yet and I was wandering if I can just run a wire from the choke to the "IGN UNFUSED" section of the fuse block?
Thanks,
Dan

Re: Edelbrock Electric choke question?

Yes, but being it is running to the carb(gas). I would put some kind of circuit breaker (fuseable link) in the line. You have a short and sparks fly. Possibly you will have a very hot ride, but not in a good way.
I ran an edelbrock carb on my Nova I used to have. I spliced my switched power on the ignition side on the distributor.

Re: Edelbrock Electric choke question?

I've got a 5 am fuse inline with the Electric choke just off the connection at the fuse box .
