lowering body
I'm looking to lower the body on my truck. What is the best way to go? I'm not worried about the ride.

Re: lowering body
Are you talking about body dropping or channeling the body or lowering the suspension? Lowering the suspension can be done with some combintation of springs, spindles, flip kit, shackles, hangers, or air bags. Lowering the suspension is fairly simple, channeling the body is going to require some major fabrication skills. My daily driver has 3" drop spindles in front and a flip kit for 5-6" drop in the rear. The truck can still be used to haul and has enough drop to be noticed and the rid quality is decent. Spindles run anywhere from $100 for used to $250 new, flip kits run $40 used to around $150 new.

Re: lowering body
if your going to use a flip kit, theres a guy on ebay (snchevy66) that sells them for around $50.
