Rust Mort
I wanted to see what the Rust Mort product would actually do. So I went to a paint store and bought a quart for $20.00. According to the paint store, use Rust Mort then prime and paint.
I used the Rust Mort on my 62 truck that was setting in the weeds. I was skeptical when I got the product. The product looks like mouth wash. I used a paint brush to apply the Rust Mort. Rust Mort does not need to be mixed. It can be used right out of the bottle. I put the Rust mort on Friday after work. When I checked it today, I could tell a big difference. I am a believer now. Here is the link to the before and after photos. http://fredbrooks.photosite.com/Album7/

Re: Rust Mort
Do you prep or just paint? Seems flakey like it needs sanding, or does that screw up the rust mort? Never used it but curious.

Re: Rust Mort
I think you need to remove as much loose stuff as you can before you apply it. It's great for battery box areas and tight places. I'm using it to treat my '70 GMC's small problem areas.

Re: Rust Mort
I did not do any prep. Just put Rust Mort on the rust. I might try sanding some of the white stuff before I prime and paint.
