Dual A/C to the middle seats?

Just saw smokekiki's interior burb pics and noticed the dual a/c has vents that go to the middle seats. I've never seen this before in this generation of burbs. Was it something in certain years or certain trim packages? Not enough A/C has always been the reason I've only wanted a weekend burb and not a DD, but this could solve that problem. Someone please enlighten me with all your 67-72 vintage burb a/c knowledge.

Re: Dual A/C to the middle seats?

'67-'71 Burbs had a "tunnel" that ran from the back to the front. It had a/c vents for the back, middle, & front passengers. '72 was the first year for the rear a/c plus dash vents...if you do a search you should be able to seem some pics of what I am talking about...
