Question Anniversary trucks .......... 68 GMC ?

Probably a stupid question but did GMC also offer an anniversary model pickup in 1968 ? I bought a couple of parts trucks this weekend and one of them is a nice buildable 71 C-10 with air BUT the other is a 68 GMC with a gold painted instrument bezel. It looks good at a glance but I was wondering if it was a factory deal. They're both fairly complete. I'll post the pics soon. Thanks, Dean

GMC had colored inst panels, that was a normal thing.
There was no 50th annv GMC, and if there was, it woulda been more like 1953 IIRC.

GMC never did one and '68 was not GMC's 50th Anniversary...it was more like 1950. Max Grabowski formed the Rapid Motor Vehicle Company (later called GMC...not named after Grabowski Motor Company either).
