TH350 Question
Are these trannys all the same length or are there different sizes?
I found a 350 crate motor with 35,000 miles and a TH350 with a shift kit for sale locally. I was thinking about going to look at it.

I do know that they have different tail shaft lengths. The most common are 9" long. These are the same length as 700R4, but the tranny mount is slightly different. Hope it helps some.

The main body of the trans is the same. They had a 4", 6", 9" and 12" tails for them. Most common in our trucks is a 6". Some guys go to a 9" or 12" which works well with a one piece driveshaft
