A good find and no money/room
Doncha hate a deal when you're out of money and too many vehicles in your drive/yard? Ran across a 69 CST/10, was a 396 but has small block in it now, factory air is still all there and power brakes, guy says it would run, is on the rough side but I'm itching for that air cab, how about $700 with engine and $300 without? Hmmm, gears turning in head, my cycle should sell this time on Ebay, let's see, I know a couple guys that would let me hide it at their place, I can tell wife I have to have a cab with air, hehe, now I know how some of you guys end up with a bunch of trucks.

Re: A good find and no money/room
I know what you mean. My wife got all worked up when I told her I bought a new fender. "Why do you need ANOTHER one, whats wrong with the six other ones in the garage!?" She just doesnt get it...so now I just sneak parts in while she is napping! I still havent figured out how im going to hide the donor '96 Caprice!
Let us know what parts you dont end up using off the '69 if you get it. Ive got a project '70 im working on and Im just under 2 hours from you!

Re: A good find and no money/room
I feel for you guys, really. I bought a 1/4 acre in downtown katy, which is pretty strict. But I live in a trailerhouse on the land which is commercial/residential just so I don't have to pay some neighborhood committee to mess with me. I respect my neighbors and vice versa,we just tell each other if a radio is too loud or something may be an eyesore we'll cover it or hide it. I hope to have a metal garage built in a couple years so that will really help.
