67-72 sub bumper on my 78
Will a 67-72 rear suburban/blazer bumper bolt up or even fit on the back of my 78? Any help would be appreciated...

Not without some kind of modification.

ok.... I was expecting that.... but what? Anybody know? As long as it's just a matter of bracketry I'm down to do it. But if i have to say cut the bumper in half and make it wider I'll just use a newer one.

Yeah, I've thrown a same thought around in my head. I figure the bumber needs to be 'bout 75" wide to 'fit'. I figure the brackets would have to be modded and mounting holes changed. Since these bumbers don't wrap around the the rear corners of the truck (basically a straight bumper), it may look cool in the recessed area of the truck.
