Re: Burnsman...
He's a good guy. Never slept in his driveway, though...
He had a rear slider window on e-bay that noone bid on. I contacted him about it after the auction and he sent it to me for just the cost of shipping. Made me feel good enough to give away some of my parts!!!

Re: Burnsman...
Jon, any time. I used to drive throughthe night and take naps in my truck, etc. With my kids now, I just don't feel I can chance it. I normally just get a hotel. Sometimes I try to make it a family affair and bring the family along so the kids can swim in the pool or whatever. Overall, I guess I just don't try to drive all over the countryside anymore. Maybe I'm getting old or lazy or something..............Jon, I'll also forward your info on the sheetmetal to the few local guys who were asking. Brian

Re: Burnsman...
Well, who could EVER say enough good things about Brian Burns. He is the kind of guy that I would LOVE to have as a next door neighbor. He cares about people, and he shares my PASSION for old trucks like a BROTHER. It's NOTHING about money, and ALL about the trucks. He's SO easy to talk to, and a PLEASURE to know. I look forward to swappin' parts (AND drinkin' beers) with him for a LONG time to come. I TRULY thank you Brian, for being my fellow "George Bailey Of Trucks". Take care, Mike
PS I hope having Evelyn see all the trucks at MY place, made it a little easier for you to have a few sitting around YOURS!

Re: Burnsman...
Mike, any time. Your a nice guy and hopefully we can get some kind of a get-together for this side of the state next year (hell, I'd even be happy to host it). I also enjoy seeing other people's collections (I'm a collector myself!). I just wish I had more time to look. Also, I dug out your clutch/pressure plate. Real good shape. Couldn't find the throw out bearing. I'm going to try to ship it Tuesday so you should see a present in the mail by Wed/Thurs.

Re: Burnsman...
Did you move, when I looked at the post about the 4X4 you have for sale it said you are only 80 miles away!
Seems to me it you were a little father away |

Re: Burnsman...
Still the same place. Seems there are still some bugs in the distance calculator.

Re: Burnsman...
Better get up there quick! You never know when it might go back to 500+ miles.Brian`s a good guy to deal with and all that. But,I sleep in any driveway I want if I`m tired enough.I figure you can`t hurt anything when you`re asleep and if there was a fire or something, the sirens would wake me up.
