lloyd k... it was great meeting you. And your rig bought back many memories of my black primered SWB GMC....which almost got the cad motor like yours does... they were dern close to being twins! OK... maybe ugly sisters or something. (ugly chicks need lovin too though right?)

Love your choices of power...

I hauled my Grandpa's 'ol 68 GMC out of the bush. Have a 500 Caddy and Turbo 400 to replace the 283 and Turbo 350.

I have seen Longhorn's site and his swap pages, some good tech there.

May need some pointers as I am basically a greenhorn with this type of fabrication. I have a feeling it will be a slow and painful process.

Longhorns truck has real clean swap, mine was already in when I got it, been working on alot of little things and have some plans for it, theres probably a few things you want before it actually goes in, allot info to share
