WIW; Non-tilt 4 speed column?

Hey all, I just picked up an automatic tilt column. I spent a good bit on it. Not sure if I should have bought it Anyway, I need to possibly get some of my $$$ back, so what do y'all think a manual (floor shift) column is worth? It is non-tilt. I've been told original ones are somewhat rare as most trucks were 3spds or autos. It is in really good shape, and would be without the steering wheel.

Also, what is a good automatic tilt column worth (good shape, but not rebuilt.) I might need to sell the one I just bought (it was a stupid impulse buy I didn't think through.)

NEITHER of these items are currently for sale and ALL PM's and "put me in line" BS will be IGNORED. Please post what you honestly think these items would be worth in good shape, with no steering wheel.

Re: WIW; Non-tilt 4 speed column?

A factory original 4 speed non tilt column is not rare at all. Many farm trucks and manual shift blazers have them. One in excellent shape may bring $100. tops.
A truly original truck tilt (not a modified Van Tilt) can bring up to $300.+ in nice clean condition. If totally restored with new components, repainted to original--can bring $4-500. depending on the buyer. A typical "just pulled" truck tilt with no cleanup might bring $200. if decent. So---that's the price range I see in this part of the country.

That's actually about what I was thinking. I didn't get a "deal" on the tilt, but I didn't overpay either.
Thanks

Re: WIW; Non-tilt 4 speed column?

I'VE SOLD AT LEAST A DOZEN 4 SPEED NON-TILT COLLUMNS IN THE LAST 6 YEARS OR SO FOR $40 OR $50. BUT I'VE SEEN THEM GO FOR UP TO $100 OR $120 ON EBAY. & THEN I'VE PUT THEM ON EBAY WITHOUT A SINGLE BID.
YA NEVER KNOW. JOHN

Re: WIW; Non-tilt 4 speed column?

Thanks John, I know they're not worth a lot, but I'd like to try to get some of my $$$ back. I also have a hardly used Lokar floorshift for a 700R4 that's worth quite a bit, even though I'd be taking a bit of a loss on it.
