Re: weird problem
Mine does something similar. Everything works fine, but when you turn the lights on to the "park light" my left turn signal light comes on and stays on. I think it's a ground issue with the dash. I have yet to fix mine, but the blinker will work, jut the dash part is messed up.. When I pull the headlights to "on" everything works ok.

Re: weird problem
Is your left turn signal lit up? My car did something like this, everything off it worked fine, when I turned my parklights of my right turn signal was on in the dash. When I turned my headlights on my right side was dim and the signal light was still on, I had a bad headlight ground and it was grounding through the signal light which caused it to turn on.

Re: weird problem
do you guys have any bulbs out in any lights. one of my running lights was out and my signal stayed lit up when the lights were on. once i replaced the bulb it was fine. check all your lights.

Re: weird problem
I have also seen this happen when a turn signal/park light bulb (1157) is installed wrong or the bulb socket is bad. Check the grounds very good. That is the most common cause.

Re: weird problem
truckdude and67 redneck, replace the tail light and front parking lights... all 4 1158 bulbs, or a 20 57 for brighter brakes/flashers, and see what happens.
The truck is designed to do this when a bulb goes bad. It senses the lack of continuity to the ground, ahnd lights up the indicator. If new bulbs doesn't fix it, then check the grounds (including the sockets) out front and in back. Jesse72, you do in fact have a very weak ground on your inst panel. |

Re: weird problem
yeah... 1157 and 2057. If your normal chain type parts store doesn't have them, NAPA should. That's who stocks ours.
