San Diego Transmission Shop

Anyone have any recommendations for a transmission or all around shop in San Diego. I took my truck to valley transmission this morning and I'm not sure how that will pan out. Seems like they were pretty backed up and low on people.

Re: San Diego Transmission Shop

There are two Valley transmission shops in the East County. I think I've used the one on Washington Street and have had good service from them for years.

Yeah the one on Washington in El Cajon is pretty good. I've found on in Casa de Oro off of Campo Rd. that is really good. They are Precison Transmission. Owner is Chevy muscle car owner who builds heavy duty trannys with the right parts in 'em.

Thanks for the info guys! Glad to get some positive feedback from valley. I took it to the location on 2nd street so I hope they are the same. I will find out later today I guess. I'll keep you posted.

I'll make sure to keep precision transmission in mind as well. Thanks!
