Aluminum Wheel cleaner/polish
Went over the wheels last weekend. 20 minutes at the most. You guys that use Mother's can keep it. I will stick to my California Customs "Purple". I remember at shows going around and seeing all these guys doing wheels with Mother's. Mine would be done and just as shiney as their's and I'd be walking around watching them do theirs.
I thought this was interesting. Do you know how much California Customs spent on advertising last year????? $0000000000000. They do not advertise it. It is all by word of mouth. Last edited by Mudder; 09-15-2006 at 01:21 PM. |

Re: Aluminum Wheel cleaner/polish
are those wheels chrome or polished aluminum? my wheels are polished aluminum and after putting mothers on them they have a haze to them. so now i just use castrol super clean wheel cleaner, spray it on and hose it off, and it works great. but i still cannot get the haze from mothers out. do you think this california custom stuff will remove the haze on my wheels?

Re: Aluminum Wheel cleaner/polish
It will if you get both parts of it. They have an acid to loosen the oxidation up before you use the purple. It will remove a lot of stuff nd will probably help you out. These are polished aluminum wheels. This stuff does nothing for clear coated wheeels.

Re: Aluminum Wheel cleaner/polish
Ok you can go here to read about this stuff and purchase it. It's prabably the only place you will come across it unless you see someone at a show with it or see it in a truck stop. And when you are looking through that site. The really bad looking set of wheels. I know the girl that owns them. A detailer did that to her wheels with bleachwhite. The Calif. Customs cleaned them up like you see in the pictures there.
