do they make a BOLT ON 4-LINK SETUP for our trucks ? i dont have the welder/knowledge to do the whole welding mounts etc. ive looked at all the threads about 4-links but they are all weld on style.

do they make a kit that is just the coil-overs and mounts (top and bottom) that uses the stock trailing arms ??

They make a coil over bolt on set up..no 4 link that I know of. Heres the link to the coil overs

i dont know if they still sell that, they dont list it any more in there catalogue

no, at least what i have seen. all the trucks i have seen are custom. usally 3 links.... ick.... and usally weld on.... stronger in most cases.

I've Had A Couple Of Big Horse Power Pro Street Trucks, & The Stock Trailing Arm- Coil Spring Setup Hooks Up Unbelievably Well.

There are back-1/2s made.But,there`s still alt of fab work to work them into the stock frame.It`s only necessary when going with an extra narrow rear/super wide tires where the frame is too wide.
What size are your tires/wheels?

heres my ladder bar set-up on the 85 all welded by the way...and you can see the 350 lbs steel plate bolted in the rear frame rails above the rear end..
thats how you get it to hook...

i actually looked at it tonight and with my tires i would have to run the coils inside the frame which means i would have to totally rework my exhaust (new a couple months ago) and have mounts welded to the axle tubes/trailing arm mounts and then figure out how to mount them up top (not to hard)
i was really only after the cool factor on this whole setup since i dont drag race/street race or drive the truck all that much to be exact.

I had the classic performance parts coil over kit on my truck for 1 1/2 years. It is to date the biggest waste of money I have spent on my truck. It was $500 plus shipping. It had to be the roughest ride I have ever seen. It might would have worked better on a heavier truck. It did not go well on my '70 stepside. It looked good thats about all. I went back with stock springs and some good shocks and sold the kit on ebay earlier this year. You are not missing out on anything, just my 2 cents.

RAGENRAT... THAT SETUP IS A THING OF BEAUTY.
THAT BEING SAID.. YOU CAN STUFF A PRETTY GOOD SIZED TIRE UNDER A STOCK TRUCK. I LIKE TO PUT 315R16 RADIAL TRUCK T/As. THEY HAVE A 12" FOOTPRINT & FIT REAL WELL ON 8 OR 10" RIMS WITH 4" BACKSPACING. I'VE PUT THEM ON A 3/5 LOWERED SHORT BED WITH NO FITMENT ISSUES.

Hey pdr510 how low was your stepside with that kit on it. I have the same kit for my 2wd Blazer and I am thinking of taking it off of the frame and swapping it over to my 72 fleet truck.

The kit I had was 3" drop. You can add blocks to make it lower. Here is an old pic with the kit.
