need help w/points to HEI conversion
i have a 1965 chevy suburban w/points for ignition. i have a hei distributor to replace the old one. what i don't know is where to hook the wires from the coil and starter to!!!i realize i have a 65 but i visit this message board all the time. you have more people on this board than mine!!any help would be greatly appreciated...... ps...all chevy trucks rule(gmc too!!)

snip them, or tape them off! dont hook them up they are unneccasry now

12 gauge is way palenty, even 14 is plenty, no need to go overboard on wire size....
ywllow and white wires that ran to coil are now useless, lose thewm, thwe yellow onl;y runs from + on coil down to R on solenoid happy HEI swapping |

I ran 10 guage on mine.....better safe than sorry........69 longhorn.
