you can get the multi angle boots for headers or the 90's for stock manifolds |

Re: msd
Get the ones that are cut to length. That way you can custom make each wire for the hole and rout thru your loomes. Makes for a nice clean custom job and its very easy to do. I used Moroso

Re: msd
I use msd wires. they're worth getting at least once just for the Crimp tool that comes in the kit. It fits in your vise creating perfect crimps every time.
I also use a MSD Blaster SS coil, but if you want the traditional look, a blaster 2 or 3 will work fine. ![]() |

Re: msd
I second the Blaster SS. It's cheaper than many big coils and puts out some serious power.
I've got one on my "other" toy (see my sig below) and when I installed it, I did a little experiment at night using a short piece of welding rod to arc it over to an alternator bolt to see what the spark looked like and how far it would jump. I had the distributor out at the time, so I just rotated it by had to fire the coil. WOW!! Not only did it jump a good 1.25", but the spark was blue and about 1/8" wide! It also made a sound that's hard to describe in writing. Something like "braanngppp". It was truly impressive. I was so excited I went into the house and grabbed my wife. When I did the demo for her I got a little too close to the coil and it got me good. I was wearing some Craftsman mechanics gloves at the time, but I guess the coil didn't care. It got me in one finger and I felt it, literally, all the way down into my toes. ![]() I seriously didn't get all the feeling back in that finger until about 24 hrs later. No kidding!

Re: msd
I like the taylor wires. The boots have a nice slim design, as opposed to the larger clunky LSD boots. I routed mine under the headers as opposed to over the valve covers. Cleans up the engine a good bit I think.
