Looking for a bench seat
Ok I checked the archives and got a little info but need more if it's out there. I'm at work so I can't just go measure anything. A bud is going to go to a boneyard near him this evening. I've got the stock bench seat but would like to upgrade a bit. What seats are a direct bolt-in if any? Which seats are the most popular swap? I'm 6'2" and with the stock seat all the way back it's still a little cramped. I'm thinkin a seat maybe an inch or 2 taller might be better? ANY help or info would be greatly appreciated! TIA......

I am 6'4" and got a 60/40 out of an 88+ silverado. Mine was $50 off Craigs List and I just drilled new holes for it. The only differnce was the hump in my truck is a little lower than the truck it came out of. I spaced it off about a half ince and it's perfect.
<edit> mine was still kinda close with the stock wheel, but an aftermarket wheel fixed that. Last edited by jimmydean; 09-20-2006 at 04:05 PM. |
