1972 Seat belt question

Does anybody know if the Accessory Suburban Shoulder Harness setup is the same as the pick-up Truck version? (maybe even the same part number?)
I have a 72 Chevy Suburban 4x4.

Re: 1972 Seat belt question

I guess this was a good question as no one seems to know.....yet?
There must have been more pick-up trucks built in 72. It would be interesting to find out if the shoulder harness seat belts interchanged between Bubs and pick-ups.
If anyone ever finds out, please let me know.
Thanks.

Re: 1972 Seat belt question

Can't see why not on front seats. Same basic seat, same size door which should equate to same mounting point for shoulder harnesses and same setback from steering wheel. These belts are also adjustable just like the lap belts would would take care of slight differences that may exist.

Re: 1972 Seat belt question

I have never seen the shoulder belts. I know they made em. Must of been pretty rare. I like my lap belts. Cops cant give me a ticket for not wearing them. I know I probaly should but I live in a small farm town and we dont drive over 30 mph here! I wear em on the Hi-way.
