Bag diameter

OK I've searched and searched with no luck. What does it matter what diameter air bag you will use. I am about to buy some for the rear of my 71.

it's the weight capacity you want to be concerned with ... you want at least 2400 lb. bags for the rear and 2600 lb. bags for the front, at least in Firestone brand

a larger diam bag has more cubic inches of air space, the more c/i of air means less pounds of air preasure per inch required to hold the truck up and will give you a softer ride.
