Tow Hooks
Does anybody know if the front Tow Hooks option ever came in chrome?
Or was it only available painted black?

Re: Tow Hooks
Not to my knowledge or experiences. You could only get tow hooks with a painted bumper and not with the chrome bumper. Most the ones I have seen have actually been painted white or surface rusted iron oxide red. Were they painted black originally??

Re: Tow Hooks
OK Thanks guys. That's what I was my guess too.
I bought a set of the major curls for my 72' and I'm toying with the idea of chroming them. Thanks

Re: Tow Hooks
would chroming them raise or lower their value? I wish I had grabbed every pair i have seen over the last 35 years, probably could have retired by now

Re: Tow Hooks
Yup, they were from boss. I dont know if that would hurt the value or not.
I'm going to install them (in black) and see how I like them.

Re: Tow Hooks
I've heard chrome plating weakens parts under cyclic loading. Probably not enough to matter here...
