Camel-hump head brackets

Just wondering if it is worth the headache of dealing with the bracket issues when using the camel humps??? I have run across a heck of a deal on a set of #291's (less than $200). What am I really getting my self into? I have seen a few of the bracket set-ups for a whole lot more money than I want to tie up in brackets. Just give me some thoughts.......Or maybe some ways to rig some brackets up.......Thanks a bunch!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Camel-hump head brackets

i do believe the power steering brackets are the hardest too find as you can buy the alternator bracket in chrome through most parts stores

Re: Camel-hump head brackets

Is the problem that they are not drilled and tapped for brackets? Alan Grove might make a set to fit. I have never heard a bad word about ANY of his products.

I wouldn't bother with those heads for that price unless they already have hardened seats in them...

Re: Camel-hump head brackets

I second Slonaker on Alan Grove. I have their brackets for my big block, and am VERY pleased!

They also have exactly what you are looking for.
