Whoopee!!!
I just completed the install of a No-Spin (Detroit Locker) into the Eaton HO52 on my`72 Highlander. These are not available new, anymore, and I got mine from Teeitup, aka Randy. It had some funk in it,so I had to disassemble, clean, and reassemble before installing into the carrier.Hopefully I`ll get a TruTrac in the front before I`m too old to drive.

I can't wait to use mine, either. I have the axle put together with 5.14 gears and the locker, just needs discs and spring perches welded on.

I love my detroit in the summer , but I am still trying to figure out how to drive it in the winter. It is down right scary.

Re: Whoopee!!!
Those No-Spins are sweet. My 69 has the factory installed one and it will do things in 2wd that my Yukon couldn't do in 4wd. I've only had it get out of shape once on a wet road. If I stay light on the gas while in turns i find it is very forgiving.

Re: Whoopee!!!
It`s the stck D44.But,I have a set of open 1t axles.I`ll keep that in mind.I really want those axles in my truck. But,had to service mine as soon as I got the truck. Then, got this locker. So,my original axles are fully serviced/rebuilt at the moment.I want to go through the D60/14-bolt before swapping.I already have the Custom/30 badges waiting. This truck will be a K/30 CustomDeluxe Highlander CustomCamper, yet.
