putting it back together is the best part

I am not looking forward to stripping the bed

Its almost time to start cutting it in but I do not know what color to paint it. I think I am going to walk a few new car dealerhips and see what jumps out at me

I was going to get aftermarket fenders but I figured I need the metal work experience and bought a body hammer set

Its not as hard as i thought

That looks like one of those foam air filter elements, I would strongly consider replacing that with safer, paper version

I actually hate putting things back together, it's always much more fun taking them apart (I'm always missing parts when I put stuff back together )

Project is looking great!


Do you have a 82 to early 90's Trans Am, or just the hood?

91 firebird- my first love

I am changing the color- candy apple with a red to green flip flop pearl

I have made all the changes except a 72 C-10 diff and 3/4 ton HD springs in the rear

Boy ain't that the truth!!

Project looks good. It is nice to be assembling in staead of disassembly. I think I am actually on the assembly part of mine. I seem to forgot at times though and start taking things apart again
