77 GMC brake lights and flashers
Some that read this may know i restored a 77 gmc short bed. Ok here we go,the truck has been sitting for about a year now. before I had it moved to my brothers house breaklights and flashers worked, now they dont . I replaced break switch , harness to rear lights. I may need to mention that I redid alL guages, (got picks it anyone interested) What is weird is I can run a jumper from the line that goes to the top of the break switch to pos. side of the flashers and they will work .but still no break lights any input would be helpfull

Re: 77 GMC break lights and flashers
Sounds like the same problem I had. I replaced the turn signal switch in the column and fixed it. The brake lights use the same wiring harness in the column.
