Help on new panel truck
Just got a 68 panel and can't decide to leave it stock, drop it, or put it on a 4x4 frame. Livrat has a 4x4 suburban frame in my yard(very convienient) he wants to part with. I'll try to post pic's tonight

Re: Help on new panel truck
Congrats on buying the Panel Steve!! Welcome to the club..lol I would use the 4X4 frame myself, but I like 4X4s. Suburbans and Panels do not make practical 4X4s but they do look cool, but a dropped Panel looks sweet too!! This is why I own so many trucks..lol I like having it both ways!!! lol WES

Re: Help on new panel truck
Nice panels are hard to come buy, original 4x4s even more rare.

Re: Help on new panel truck
I am having the same conversation with myself.
My 69 Panel could go on a spare 72 suburban chassis with a bb 402/th400/posi 3.08 rear....or...I also have a spare 71-72 half ton 4x4 suburban chassis to use. I flip-flop on the answer every time I think about it.

Bag it!
With bags you'll have the option of ride height, then lay it out at cruises/shows. |

Re: Help on new panel truck
A little more than I wanted to, but the exterior seems to be in good shape. A little rust in the floor. Runs and stops, so can't complain. Decided to put it on the 4x4 frame and maybe upgrade it to 3/4 ton
