Ugly is coming to life..with photos

My ugly truck has been sitting stripped down in my office for nearly 2 years. Not only is it taking up valuable space, BUT I'M dying to romp on it. I got it with alot of good parts, and have added a lot since.

When its done-
• 72 Blazer
• 454 built to almost 500HP
• th400 trans rebuilt with NP205, 44, 14FF, detroit front and rear, built for power drive shafts
• 4 wheel disc, stops on a dime, no death skid. : >
• 37" tread
• 6" Skyjacker, no blocks
• 8 point Family cage, 45 gussets, seats attached, full 4 point harnesses
• Rhino interior, Quiet Car spray on sound dampener everywhere, Rust Bullet on the under carriage (looks sweet)
• Paint will wait, hopefully orange again- gotta pass it by my wife

What's my kid doin' with a toilet brush? I'm a janitor.

Whaddya think? Back on the road in 2 weeks for Blazer Bash in Moab?

1st phots, is when I bought it ine Vegas
2nd photo, well you can tell, the driver and copilot
3rd photo, the way it looked when I parked it
4th photo, plenty of work has been done
5th photo, the way it sits today

The Blue Goose is my aspiration. Nice job!

Looks like you have a little work ahead of you. But it will all be worth it when it's done. Good luck with getting it done.

Looks like a great project. I know I couldn't get that done in two weeks. Good luck and keep us posted.

Re: Ugly is coming to life..with photos

Welded a ton of small holes, hammered out many dents, sanded pannels for body filler, preped with rust mort for paint, bought gal of enamel primer... on my way.

It will not likely be ready for Moab, but still moving on it.
