difference in 3/4 ton rear springs

what is difference in the 3/4 ton regular rear springs and the 3/4 ton HD springs

I have found so far that the regular springs are 1 inch taller than the HD's
the coils look bigger in the hd's

my delema is that I need it to sit higher in the rear because the front suspention is going to sit a bit higher due to the deisel springs

if I got the regular 3/4 springs what could I shim the rear of the bed with

Re: difference in 3/4 ton rear springs

The 3/4 ton hd springs look nothing like the others. Ihave a orange and white 1/2 ton with regular springs, a 69 3/4 ton pickup bed trailer with standard 3/4 ton springs and finally my 72 orange and white 1/2 ton with 3/4 ton hd springs! There are very few loops on the coil Id say about half of the other springs. The thickness of the steel is almost double. It only has 4 loops. Here is how my truck sits with stock 1/2 ton springs in the front and 3/4 ton hd in the rear with 22575r15 tires: front from ground to center of wheel well 31"
back from ground to center of wheel well 34.5". Or a diferance of 3.5". I wll warn you that this thing rides rough as he!! when empty but fully loaded glides like a cadillac. hope this helps.
