found a 67 cst, got some ?
Well this will be my first 67-72 but i've owned many 73-87's. So i'm still learning (thanks to the board). So my question is, isn't this kind of a rare truck. It's a long bed with 3 speed and originally a 327 but converted to 305. I have not bought it yet but when I called the guy he said it was a heavy half with 6 lug rotors. I thought heavy half's were 73-87. And wern't all 67's 6 lug. The guy only wants 1200 for it. Btw it's a fleetside. Do you think it's worth it?

price sounds ok. heavy half are 73+. Cst is the custom sport truck package. It has some of the more desireable options. It really depends on how the overall condition of the truck is in on if its a good deal or not.

my 67 1 of the options was heavy duty rear springs but not called a heavy half, now I had a 79 that had stickers on the bed that said heavy half.

Re: found a 67 cst, got some ?
Yes they were all 6 lug.. but not rotors...drums. If it has disks, it was converter.
No such thing as heavy 1/2 on these, 6 lugs make ppl think heavy duty and everyone has heard of a heavy half, so they dub there truck as so. Kinda like 95% of the 327s you see for sale are *corevette* 327s. CST is very desirable, esp in the 67. That was the only year that buckets were included with the CST package. |
