Steering Column

I have a nice complete tilt steering column from an 80s model pickup.. i dont know what to do with it... i have a 73 non tilt, would it fit on my pickup or would i have to modify it? i may just sell it if it wont work... isnt the wiring different though for the wipers, etc.... please let me know, thanks!!!

The wiring will be different for sure, as will the shaft from the column to the steering box. The column itself should bolt up to the dash, sounds like you have an 84-87 colum. Wiper stayed on the dash until 83.

You'll have rewire the turn signals to work too, as for the wipers I am not sure if it's as easy as getting the wiper motor and the wiring from an 84 and up truck or not but, it should work.
