little progress

Done a little flipadeflip on the hood, still need to make the track for the back of the hood. but that shouldnt be a problem.

awsome ! can i see more pics of your dash ? i am about to put one in my truck ..the one i have is a 59 impala...are you going to run the original type dash trim and dash pad ?

Me too. I'd like some details on this. I was in the JY lookin' at mid '80s GM stuff... Looks like it could be done fairly easily. Even some close-up pictures of your hinges/latches would be nice.

Used hinges from mid 80's buick delta 88. as for the latch you use your stock latch nothing nothing changes there. was one of the easiest mods so far took about 4 hours to mock it up weld it up hang it up. still need to fine tune it a bit. but its there.
no the rotors arn't sitting on the floor, theres a jack under it. had the wheels off so i cud get inside with the hood shut.
theres a bunch of pics of it on here just do a post search of me and find them all.
i stole the idea from (lotik) so i cant really take credit for this one i did change a few things tho.
heres pics of the hinges.

Sorry my eyes must be getting old, I did not see the jack last night. Looking good, a friend og mine did the same thing to his Chevy S-10.
