Re: Progress

Looks pretty sweet.

Tell us more about it...

What were your plans for it?
Tubing used?
Wheel base?
What motor/drive train is it designed to fit?

If and when you decide to sell it, give me a pm.

Re: Progress

Lost interest! 2wd blazer! Dude you need some serious help.

You for got to mention the 71 SWB in pieces,71 Early Bronco and the 67SS chevelle, oh wait that is the dreams that I keep having! My problem is I have the cars but no time to work on anything of my own. But time will prevail I hope. My buggy is alot further along, it runs but still needs alot of little work to get it done. My biggest problem is here in Cali all the trails will be shut down by the time it is done.

Re: Progress

Thanks......i just wanted someone else to notice all the hard work i have done lately. This project i cant wait to get rid of started years back when i was getting out of my K5 trail rig and wanting less body to worry about and i have always enjoyed building things. So i start building a s10 cab truck/hybrid and did alot of work but when i stepped back and looked..it was still a cab truck and i just didnt think it was very cool looking. So i did a little(very) research bought a bender and notcher and went to town. When i had the chassis foundation done i carried it to Frankies Offroad where he and i did the 4 link and shock mounts. All is still good with me.....i have a fever for offroading and this will get me where i want to be.....Wrong. After years of problems with my neck and back i had to have neck surgery which made me feel like a new man for a while but has slowly gotten back to the same old same old. I also have some problems with my lower back and its really slowed me down. Thats when i get itch to get another k5..this time a 1st gen. I can tell you....its alot more fun riding around in my k5 than working on a buggy i dont need to have. So i now have a renewed interest in getting the buggy sellable.
So i can buy another k5

The buggy chaissis is nearly all 1.75 .120 erw.
Front/rear 4 link Fox 16" coilover
rockwell 2.5 ton steer axles with pinion brakes....detroit front welded rear
350/350/205
im finishing it with propane but whoever buys it can do whatever they want
44 tsl front 44 boggers rear 15x10 32 bolt beadlock wheels
i built the exhaust out of mandrel bends.. block huggers to 3" flowmaster
2 seats/5 point harness
ford electric fan mounted directly to alum radiator
Art Carr shifter..Mike Brown 205 twin stick
front drive shaft is 2 piece with carrier bearing
th350 has tci reverse pattern manual valve body with compression braking
warn xd9000i
Who wants it!!!

Re: Progress

So all the stuff descibed is mounted already? Or it's 'waiting' to get installed?

Sounds wicked!

I expect your wanting to sell all of the associated parts and pieces?

Shoot me a pm with a price.
