Re: Need pics of C-20's w/ wheel n stance options

Here ya go. Fronts are 16x7 F0rd rims(will switch to 16x6.5 GM's soon ) with 235/85/16's and rears are the hard to find 16.5x9.75 GM steel rims with 33/12.50 BFGoodrich A/T's. Front end is stock HD springs, and HD rear coils with the aluminum twist-in spacers to lift the rear up so the 33's don't rub when hauling a load.

Re: Need pics of C-20's w/ wheel n stance options

I lowered the back 1.5" using lowering shackles and left the front alone. It's still slightly higher in the back, but that just allows for hauling stuff, which is what I use the truck for. (It only gets out of the garage about once a month.)

The wheel tire combo is an aluminum 17x9 with 285/60-17 Kumhos (and yes, I'm ashamed that I put import tires on a classic truck).

Not the best picture for stance, but it's the best on I've got here at work.

Re: Need pics of C-20's w/ wheel n stance options

Are you doing a quasi-stock "period" resto or are you going wild? Tough to do with a 3/4 ton! Is it going to be a work truck or are you lowering it? Trailer queen? All this matters at the end of the day. I saw a perfect set of "Dukes of Hazard" style (wide fin turbines) 9.75's x 16.5's for sale here for $80 for a set of four! If you are doing a period restoration they could look good. If you are doing 20's...I can't offer you any advice or help at all....LOL!

Re: Need pics of C-20's w/ wheel n stance options

I would love to do the "quasi stock" thing, really want to stick w/ 16's, I would say 17's max. This truck is so clean, and it's all stock, the jack hasn't even been used. I will be doing some towing so I don't want to get too crazy w/ the stance, but it just needs a little attitude!
