I have Toyo Open Country A/T's on my 99 Z71 and like them a lot. They made a big difference in winter driving compared to the old Kelly Safari's they replaced.
I got the 6ply (LT265/75/16) instead of the 4ply (P265/75/26). I'm not sure if it was just the tire or the 2 extra plys over the old ones but the handling improved and plus they have a fairly agressive look to them for an A/T tire, however not as aggressive looking as the BFG A/T.

i have a set of 33's of the bridgestone dueller mt's and they mak relatively no road noise but i dont think they make them anymore

In my experiences, I have been very pleased with cooper tires, they may not be in your area.
