Has anyone ever put a steel rollpan on a blazer? I would like to do it, but I've been told from several sources that they don't make one for a blazer that has clearance for the tailgate hinges. Could I just get a fleetside rollpan and notch the areas around the hinges?

a rear roll pan for a 73-91 blazer and hes a supporting vendor for the site too looks to be about 110 + the ride

on my 78 blazer, looks like i will have to cut the frame and move the gas tank forward dome for it to fit and look right.

Bump from the dead.
Someone was asking a question about a Blazer rollpan and this came up in a search for something else I was looking for.

PickWick, did you ever find out if you have to move your gas tank to make it work?

PICKWICK, are you in the process of doing this modification or just pondering it. I looked today after removing the rear bumper off of my Blazer and the gas tank doesnt look like it will have to be moved or anything.

Well I never got a reply or anything from my last post. Guys, the Blazer board needs some activity. The regular 73-87 Truck board is always busy!

Anyways, after my last post on this thread I have been mistaken. When I took the bumper off of my Blazer and looked straight down from the edge of the rear bed floor, a section of the brace at the rear of the frame would have to be cut off to fit a rollpan in flush. I am thinking though that this brace could be simply moved towards the front of the vehicle in order to clear the rear pan as well as keep the stock fuel tank mounting areas, as well as the stock location that the rear lamp harness attaches to. Look underneath your Blazers and see if this is the best way to do it.
