Question 1/8" bed mount rubber cushions

Has anyone used the 1/8" x 2" x 2" rubber cushions that are offered by some vendors that are supposed to stop bed rattles and squeaks? They have a hole in the center and are placed between the bed and frame at each bed mount location. Do they do any good, or should I not use them?

We think the pads are good and install pads like these onto the frames before installing the beds. We do make our own out of industrial belting, (reinforced rubber, approx. 3/16" thick). Sometimes you have to shim the cab slightly if you have bed chrome that needs to be aligned to the cab.

Chrome alignment was another concern I had. I haven't looked at the pads for a while, but as I recall, the ones I have are only about an 1/8" thick. My pickup goes to the body shop on Monday, so I guess I need to decide whether to use them or not. Thanks to those who have responded. Anyone else that has used them have any opinions?
