bumper question...
I am putting a new bumper on my 86, want to go stock.
A few guys have told me to put the 89-91 burb bumper on. What's the difference? thx. |

the suburban kept the 73-87 body style until 1991, when they finally switched over. I guess the reason they want you to use those is because it is a couple years newer. Although, and I'm not sure of this, the brackets might not line up correctly when mounting.

Its the same exact bumper, 83-91.
Nothings different but the Burbs are newer when you are considering used so they may be in better shape.

ya, they looked exactly the same to me, even checked my lmc catalogs for them.
For the trucks, and the burb, same part#. thx |
