fuel line

I'm finally about to relocate my tank from inside the cab to under the bed but I have to ask a dumb question first.
I need to get a fuel line put in from the tank to the fuel pump...
Do I have to have a metal line or can I run rubber all the way? I'm not racing it at the track so I don't need metal lines for that... So is there any reason to have metal or will all rubber be fine?
thanks,
slow69

Yes you could..but figuring the price of gas and risk of a fire hazard the limited costs of putting a metal line in..additionally it may help prevent someone from helping to fill their tank.

So, fill to me the parting glass
And drink a health whate'er befalls...
Then gently rise and softly call
Goodnight and joy be to you all!
