bucket seats
Anyone runing any of those racing style seats summit sells not the metal ones but the racing/comfort buckets they sell for like 200.00 or any of the old low back jeep seats they sell? If so pics please.

to mount any of those seats depends alot on your common sence and ability think// just a matter of drilling some holes reenforcing under the floor pan and ability to make the seats level and at a comfortable height for you to drive

 MOUNTING THEM IS THE LEAST OF MY WORIES. GO TO A JUNK YARD & SIT IN SEVERAL DIFFERENT SEATS TILL YOU FIND SOME YOU LIKE & FIT YOUR BODY WELL. I USSUALLY PAY ABOUT $50 OR $60 & ABOUT $300 TO HAVE THEM RECOVERED IN ANY MATERIAL OR COLOR YOU WANT.  JOHN

Damn those ones in the second shot look almost exactly the same as my original truck buckets after I had em recovered..of course thats 800 later and I still havent put them in

if you go to a junk yard.. just find the type that have the pull out headrests.. just remove them and have them re-coverd

That is what I was thinking about those second ones 119.00 a piece plus shipping they are classic jeep seats.

i've gotten seats like these from 80's dodge vans for $15-$20 each/ cut down the pedestles had the local upholstery shop add some foan and covers rhey come out looking real similar to the factory buckets for about 20%of the real thing

these are all new seats sold thru summit I believe the top one and the last one are universal seats not out of anything and the middle one is out of older style jeep.

I put a set of the universal racing type seats in my 68. mounting them up isn't hard at all. But they do take up quite a bit of room. If I had to do it over again I would go with the jeep ones. But those high back racers are mighty comfy.

I dont have any pics, but ive spotted a few in mid/late 70's jeep wagoneers and they llok damn close to what we have in our trucks... im considering them for a worker...
