S&W cage kits

Anybody have pictures or first (or second) hand experience with these roll bar/roll cage kits? They list an 8 point kit for the 69-72 Blazer for about $170 and show a picture that "may not represent the actual product". What would I be getting for my money? I know they use the more race car conventional 1-5/8" tube, but what does their kit look like installed? I would actually like a small halo in the front passenger area and front down-bars, but the cage kits they offer like this are for the 73 and up years. I don't need/want the family bar, as the Blazer is strickly a 2-seater for me.

Thanks for the info. I have actually found them already and am contemplating purchase, but I was looking for pros vs. cons from anyone who has actually purchased and installed one in a Gen 1. Also any real world gotcha's that may have come up with the installation of one.

On their site, I get this info for part number 11-1090 - "1967-1972 Chevy Pick-Up & Blazer, 1-3/4" x .134" wall tubing. Photo is for clarification purpose only, actual part may vary." next to a stock 8 point bar photo. ($169.95)

They also list part number 11-1590 as "1967-1072 Chevy Pick Up, 1-5/8" x .134" wall EWS tubing, Includes required frame "outrigger" package. Photo is for clarification purpose only. Actual part may vary. " and the photo include a halo, dash bar and front downtubes added to the bar in the item above. ($279.95)

They also have a listing for the "cage conversion" kit as part number 12-109, but it does not show in a search showing price, details (like diameter) or photo.

i have always been cusious how these cage kits would look...there priced right and the material they used is sized pretty well....i would prefer 1 3/4 over 1 5/8 but thats because i can bend 1 3/4 myself if i wanted to change something. i have someone wanting me to build a cage in a 90 k5 but if i were to build from scratch its not going to be anywhere near 250-300.

The type of wheeling I do I would want a custom built cage all welded up strong. I also plan on integrating the seat mounts to my cage also...

I have one of thier famly cages but have not welded it in yet Ill try to get pics of it. I used thier kits in a few firebirds and they have always ben willing to work with me onit. when I ordered the famly kit for my blazer they did not make one at the time so I sent them pics of what I wanted and they built it for me the first cage they sent was way of so they made the changes and sent a secound I still have both . I ended up moving before I got a chance to finnish the cage and it has been in storage ever sence.
