Sagging rear
My burb has what alot of burbs suffer from, a sagging ass. How do I go about fixing it? Is there a cheap method? Should I lower the front instead?

Re: Sagging rear
It does look way too low.
Check the springs for breakage or just being tired. Most spring shops would know just by looking at it if the springs need to be redone. Lowering the front might cost what fixing the back would, and the back would still need help. Bill |

Re: Sagging rear
if your springs are weak and/or broken lowing the front will only make it drive worse.

Re: Sagging rear
I ended up adding a couple of leafs to my 2500 series burb when I first got it. It raised the whole thing up.....

Re: Sagging rear
i don't think yours is broken... mine looked just like that... just tired springs.
i cringed when you said lower the front... i put in a 3" fabtech lift up front and 2" lifted springs in the back (which lifts it much more than 2" compared to the worn out springs...). here's my before, but I can't find the after... |

Re: Sagging rear
Don't like dropped Suburbans? Mine is lowered 4.5" in front and 4" in the rear. I love it, very few lowered Subs around here...

Re: Sagging rear
dropped is one thing... but the stock burbs w/ saggy rears and 28" tires doesn't look so great... so lowering the front on his just a little to match the back w/ stock tires I wouldn't be a big fan of...

Re: Sagging rear
Ah, I get it now. I would have to agree with that.
