Back half quarterpanel
I need to replace the back half of the rear quarterpanel on my junk. I've attached a pic... it's hard to see but the fenderwell is rotted and the lower part behind the wheel has pinholes all throught it. Also notice my first attempt at bondo at the top rear above the side marker light. It sucks and I want it gone
![]() I've searched a bit with no luck. Does anyone make this part for the k5/jimmy or do I need to piece a few patch panels together?

Re: Back half quarterpanel
Are you going to install the patch panel yourself? Goodmark has nice stuff, but I hope you have a mig and a body hammer

Re: Back half quarterpanel
Pretty much the same as a short bed truck , other than a few holes on top.

Re: Back half quarterpanel
If you use the whole side you will have to cut it at the front. That's where the length difference is.

Re: Back half quarterpanel
If you can find one, you'll be farther ahead using an original blazer bed side.
Keep an eye open for guys in the south west parting out a blazer, it happens with pretty decent regularity. |

Re: Back half quarterpanel
The rear quarter panel patch is much worse thatn what you already have. The arear for the taillights is not formed or cut, it is over an inch to tall, there is no detail around the wheel well, and it is very thin. You would be better off repairing that one or buying another quarter off a truck (easier to find and doesnt matter if you are going to cut anyway).

Re: Back half quarterpanel
Good points blazerboy72. If I dont find an original quarter I could get away with the wheel well opening and lower back.
