Want super cheap and super easy?

Use a chain.
Yep a chain from the bottom of the shackle to the frame works perfect for stopping unwanted rotation.
Weld a washer to one end link and a bolt to the other.

I did it (opposite reasons from you) to stop my axle from dropping away to far and pulling my front shaft apart at the slip joint.

IT WORKS!!
