thermostat question

I am replacing my water neck and upper hose, to one of those chrome ribbed ones anyone use those you like them?

Anyway ordering from summit what is a good thermostat to get?

well,
i did the same thing when i put my new engine in. i would highly recommend that yo u"plane" the surface of the housing before you install it!! i kept getting a leak at the housing & finally after getting info. from the board i was told to do the same thing now i have no leak. i sure did grind alot off the housing base though. i also installed the kool-flex hose on afterwards & so far seems to be working just fine. it looks good al together..

I used to use the Mr Gasket O-ring one when i had a chevy motor, never had a single problem with the o-ring leaking, removed it every 6 months.
