The more I drive a school bus, the better I like my truck, but...

I'm driving a "gret ole big un"....90-passenger Carpenter that has delay wipers. I sure would like to think that the delay is in the assembly, AND that it can be adapted to my '69. I'm researching it right now, hopefully to get a part number and a wiring diagram to gauge the compatibility with my trucks' 2-speed wipers w/washer. The bus switch has the delay, plus washer function.

Stay tuned....but if anyone has additional knowledge, lemme know.

ChevLoRay,

I drive a old School bus we bought for our Boy Scout Troop. It's an '87 IH with a Thomas body. Drives great (for a bus!), once you hit high gear you just flat foot it, won't go faster than 67 mph down hill, slower going up hill. We take it on all our scout trips. We took the last 3 or 4 rows of seats out for gear. Beats 3 or 4 cars to get 20+ kids and adults somewhere. It's fun to drive I just wish it would go faster..........

PS Finding a way to rig up delay wipers has been on my to do list for a long time......
