i need help quick..how much is this worth - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

hi guys, sorry for jumping in like this but i have a opertunity to but a 59 apache and have no idea what to offer.
my name is dave and i live in st augustine florida area, i am a old gear head that is looking to get back into it.
the truck looks good, it has a sb 400 built up..the guy says it has well over 400hp. the trans is a 3sp manual and will not handle the hp for long so that needs replaced. the breaks need updating, they are 4 wheel drum origional and the front end is loose once again....all origional and needs updated.
he is asking 12k for it.

well i am glad to here all that because i bought it..11k
it is sweet.
now the fun begins.
disc break kit, automatic trans, pwr stering and a front end.
i got alot of research to do
