411 Gear?

The numbers on my 12 bolt ring gear say 11-41 GM. Can't read the pinion gear. Is this a 411 gear rear?

Re: 411 Gear?

I really dont know but I will take a guess. 11 is the pinion tooth count and 41 is the ring gear count. 41 divided by 11 = 3.727. rounded off = 3.73
Count the teeth and divide and know for sure

Re: 411 Gear?

Thanks for the info......kinda glad it isn't a 410......A 373 with a planned 700r4 will work just fine.......
